CSP Supplier Assistance Agent

Learn about the CSP Supplier Assistance Agent, including its purpose, capabilities, and configuration options.

The CSP Supplier Assistance Agent is an AI-powered support agent integrated into the Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) that acts as the primary line of support for supplier queries. Trained on Compass documentation, the service provides a persistent "Get Help" option within the CSP user interface to give suppliers direct access to self-service knowledge or live support.

By delivering instant answers to common supplier questions, the CSP Supplier Assistance Agent resolves inquiries automatically and reduces friction for new and existing suppliers. When complex issues require human intervention, the agent seamlessly transitions suppliers to live chat support.

Scope

The CSP Supplier Assistance Agent includes the following capabilities:

  • Knowledge Base Search: Answers supplier queries using information retrieved from Compass documentation.

  • Live Chat Handoff: Provides an option to escalate conversations and start a live chat with human support agents.

  • Persistent UI Access: Offers a persistent "Get Help" button within the CSP interface for immediate assistance.

Capabilities

The CSP Supplier Assistance Agent has the following limitations:

  • Conversation Limit: Automatically disables the AI agent after 1,000 conversations per user, limiting the user to direct Salesforce live chat interactions.

  • Session Timeout: Terminates user sessions and revokes OIDC tokens after 12 minutes of inactivity.

  • AIAP Service Availability: Hides the agent chip in the CSP user interface if the AIAP microservice is unavailable, displaying only the live help option.

Configuration

The CSP Supplier Assistance Agent requires the following setup:

  • Prerequisites: Grant the navi_user role to intended users.

  • Enablement Guide:
    1. Set the setup key navi_enabled to true to enable the feature at the application level.
