How to use the Coupa Supplier Portal for the first time

The Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) is one of the methods suppliers can interact with buyers in Coupa.

There are several ways a user can join the CSP, but the overall process is similar.

After you register to the CSP you can view and manage catalogs, purchase orders and invoices or configure your payment preferences. Follow the next steps:

  1. Create your account in the CSP.
    You can create an account though an invitation email or without an invitation email.

  2. Follow the instructions on screen to complete the CSP onboarding as detailed in Complete the CSp Onboarding. Instructions and fields may vary depending on your registration method.
    Select the Help link in the top right corner of the page to view the Help Tour any time, as shown in the screenshot below.

    Filling out the information creates your basic business profile details, including legal entity and payment methods, required for most processes.
  3. Go to the top-right menu and select the Workbench button (the bell icon) to see pending tasks and notifications.
    You may see tasks related to completing your account ot replying to buyer's requests. For more information, see Understand the CSP Workbench.

  4. Navigate through the CSP using the Coupa Supplier Portal options and screens.
    The options on screen vary depending on your settings and your buyer's configurations. For more information, see Features and Processes in the Coupa Supplier Portal.
