Pricing and repayment
- How is pricing shown?
You’ll see the discount fee rate and amount, the amount you’ll receive, and your due date before you confirm financing on any invoice. The discount fee rate is the cost of the financing.
- How does repayment work?
There will be two debits per financed invoice: one for the discount fee, and one for the invoice amount. Weekly or monthly payments are not required.
The discount fee will be debited approximately one business day after you request funds. At the end of your chosen term, the full invoice amount is debited using ACH from the bank account you have on file with Fundbox.
- What if I miss a payment?
If there are not enough funds in your account to cover your payment when it comes due, your bank account details are not up-to-date, or for any other reason the debit is not successful, you will miss that payment, which will result in an overdue balance. If you have an overdue balance, your ability to make additional draws will be suspended by Fundbox.
If you miss a payment, Fundbox will attempt additional debits to collect the outstanding balance. A $6 NSF fee will be charged each time a debit is returned due to non-sufficient funds. After three returned debits, Fundbox will stop automatic collection attempts.
A late fee will be assessed only if your balance remains unpaid after a 7-day grace period and at least two debit attempts have been unsuccessful. If assessed, the late fee is 0.375% of your outstanding balance per week, capped at 4.5% total (12 weeks). Fees are calculated on outstanding principal only and do not compound.
