Copy tax rates and tax references from invoice lines

Learn how to copy the tax rate value and the tax reference information from a selected tax line and apply the copied information to all the lines of the invoice.

This functionality is available only on the Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP) for invoices where:
  • The supplier channel invoice presentation type is Supplier Compliance or Content Validation.

  • The invoice was issued in Japan, Australia, or New Zealand.

In countries with only a few tax rates, manually setting the tax rate for each invoice line can be time-consuming, especially when handling multiple invoice lines.

To simplify this process, suppliers can use the Copy Tax feature, shown next to individual tax lines in the CSP. It enables you as a supplier to copy the tax rate value and the tax reference information from a selected tax line and apply the copied information to all the lines of the invoice. This prevents the need for repetitive manual tax rate entry on every invoice line.

  1. Log into the CSP and select the Invoices tab in the main menu.
  2. Select the customer whose invoices you want to see from the Select Customer drop-down list in the top right corner.
