Information requests
Buyers can request information from suppliers through different forms, also called Information Requests. Read more about how to fill out and send a form, or how to withdraw the information already sent.
What are information requests, forms or SIM forms
Coupa allows buyers to request information from suppliers, including banking information, certificates, contact details, and other documentation.The main way for buyers to request this is through forms that suppliers can fill out.
Forms can be referred to as information requests, SIM forms, or simply forms. Each form has its own title.
Buyers can send several forms to a single supplier.
Forms can be generic or specific, and form features or fields depend on the buyers configuration and settings.
You are notified when a buyer sends an Information Request through email, and can see all pending requests by going to .
How to fill out an Information Request Form
When a buyer requests information from you, you can be notified about the request, fill out the form, submit, or withdraw a submitted form.
Log in to the CSP.
Select the notification icon (bell icon) on the top of the screen, to go to your Workbench.

Select the task related to the form you want to fill out.
Fill out the required fields by following the instructions on screen.
Information request forms can vary depending on your buyer's configuration and settings.
How to withdraw an information request
If you sent the wrong information in a form, or for some other reason you want to delete the information you sent to a buyer, you can withdraw the information request. This allows you to edit the information you had included in the form. The buyer has access to the most recent submission.
Go to .
Select your customer from the Profile dropdown menu.
Select Withdraw.
